Gather your loved ones, adorn your furry friend in their finest attire and get ready for a fun day at The Waterfront in Daphne, all for a noble cause.
"Panini" Pete Blohme and one of his culinary school comrades, Robert Kabakoff, founded the PR Foundation in 2019. The nonprofit supports military veterans, no-kill animal shelters and people with special needs. Over the years, the foundation has contributed to and supported many organizations and helped build a home for Panini Pete's employee Johnny Stewart.
This Saturday, the PR Foundation will join forces with PP Hospitality and the Baldwin Humane Society for a fun-filled afternoon at The Waterfront.
Registration for the Joe Canine parade is open, but only 75 dogs can enter. The parade will begin at 3 p.m., and a panel of judges will be tasked with picking the cutest pups.
The day is more than just a parade of cute pups. The Baldwin Humane Society will be on-site with some dogs looking for their forever homes and there will be live music from 2-6 p.m. When you work up an appetite, enjoy a festive bushwacker and shrimp boil.
Come out and enjoy the amazing views, food and fun all while raising money for the Baldwin County Humane Society. To register your furry friend, visit www.eventbrite.com.
The Waterfront is located at 1 Yacht Club Drive, Daphne.
