George Sidney Wallace, age 65, of Loxley died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.
Sidney was a member of VFW men’s and mixed pool leagues, and he also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Wallace was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Wallace. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mae Bass Wallace; three sons, Sidney George Wallace of Loxley, Frank Wallace of Houston, Texax, Billy Wallace of Loxley; daughter, Emily Wallace of Loxley; brother, James William Wallace of McCullough; three sisters, Nettie Milstid of Summerdale, Nancy Horton and Becky Williams of Stapleton; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Styx River Baptist Church. Interment will be held in Hinote Cemetery.
