George Ellis Wilson, age 72, born in Stapleton and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at Providence Hospital.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Count’s Construction Company. He is survived by one son, Zadok Wilson of Mobile; two daughters, Dewana Rogers of Mobile; and Renita Hebert of Semmes; daughter-in-law, Brandi Wilson of Mobile; two brothers, Edison Wilson and Billy Wilson both of White House Fork; one sister, Geneva Jones of Odenville, Ala.; three grandchildren, Brittney McClure (Frank) Buford of Wilmer; Korie Wilson and Zane Wilson both on Mobile and one great-grandchild, Braden Buford of Wilmer. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Bankster Cemetery in Bromley. The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 from 6p.m. until 9p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
