Theodore Robert “Ted” Geci, DVM, a native of Alabama and a resident of Pensacola, Fla., for 51 years, died Saturday, June 16, 2007.
He served 35 years as a veterinarian for the USADA. He was a retired colonel for the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong believer and member of the Methodist Church.
His strong, quiet faith provided exceptional leadership for his family and friends. He was a tireless servant to the Lord and his community.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Janette “Sippie” Geci; children, Steve (Patricia) Geci, Pam (Charlie) Phillips and Wade Geci; grandchildren, Neil, Clint, Daphne and Whitney.
Visitation and funeral services were held Monday, June 18 from the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home. Interment followed at Timley Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
