We at Gulf Coast Newspapers are issuing this apology for the actions of one of our contractors. The individual is a young man who was hired to post our online submissions to our Community Bulletin Board section online at GulfCoastNewsToday.com. Until a few days ago, he has been doing a wonderful job, but for reasons beyond our understanding, he posted his own personal "pet peeves" in our opinion column as well as sloppy postings and inappropriate revisions to photographs. These submission were removed upon discovery and notification by our readers. His opinions are not those of Gulf Coast Newspapers and his relationship with Gulf Coast Newspapers has been severed and we are working to correct his latest online postings. These postings had no effect on our printed edition of Baldwin People.
We ask for your patience and understanding during this time of correction and sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings. If you or anyone you know read his Pet Peeves column, please disregard it and continue to send in your submissions as you have in the past. We take pride in our relationship with our communities.
Sincerely,
The Management and Staff of Gulf Coast Newspapers
