Meredith Gaston and Josh Decker were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Dec. 29, 2007 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Daphne. The Rev. Thack Dyson and Pastor Tim Decker officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Barry and Stevi Gaston of Mobile. The bridegroom is the son of Tim and Donna Decker of Sellersville,Pa.
The bride is a graduate student in elementary education at the University of South Alabama. The brideroom is stationed with the U.S. Coast Guard.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, Barry Gaston, wore a strapless ivory satin gown with a veil of Mantilla lace and pearls.
Jessica Gaston-Cook was matron of honor. Victoria Gaston was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Courtney Ross and Angie Thomas.
Nate Hackenberger, childhood friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Dan Decker, Timmy Decker and Jon DeHart.
Soloist Lauren Zoghby Howell provided special music for the ceremony.
A reception at the Mobile Museum of Art followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Honolulu, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Mobile.
