Mary Jane Gaston, born Jan. 14, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a resident of Foley, died Thursday, June 14, 2007.
She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 1, Leonia, N.J. She was also a volunteer at Ecuminical Ministries, as well as Our Lady of The Gulf Altar Rosary Society.
She was preceded in death by her son David Gaston, of Leonia, N.J.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Roy C. Gaston of Foley; son, Richard (Marilyn) Gaston of Hollywood, Fla.; daughter, Linda (Ron) Davis of Loxley; six granddaughters; s great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, with Rosary at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Gulf Shores. Interment will follow at Prince of Peace Cemetery, Elberta.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Ecuminical Ministries, 120 West Spruce Ave., Foley, AL 36535.
