Marian A. “Bud” Gartman II, 41, a resident of Spanish Fort for the past 20 years, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Munich, Germany, and graduated from Fairhope High School. He was employed as a machinist at Everwood Treatment Plant.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Gartman; his mother, Betty Gartman of Van Cleave, Miss.; daughter, Danielle Lynne McCarn of Spanish Fort; two sons, Clinton LeVelle Gartman and Stephen Thomas Gartman, both of Spanish Fort; two sisters, Rene G. Hawkins and Amanda Rae Thrower, both of Van Cleave; two brothers, Raymond E. “Butch” Gartman of Mobile, and Barry Allan Gartman of Theodoree; one grandson, David Andrew McCarn; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. with a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Fitzpen Place, Highway 31 North, Spanish Fort.

Arrangements are by Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service, Daphne.
