Lt. Col. Jimmy Harold Garrison, 61, a native of Aliceville and resident of Robertsdale, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007.

He served in the U.S. Army for over 25 years and had several tours out of the country and he also was an electrical engineer working for the Corp of Engineers in Vicksburg, Miss. He enjoyed camping, woodworking and the out of doors.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy D. Garrison of Robertsdale; daughter, Melissa Maulden of Robertsdale; four sons, Bryon Garrison of Lisman, Brandon Garrison of Aliceville, Blake Garrison of Summerdale and Bradley Garrison of Robertsdale; brother, J.L. Pate of Searcy, Ark.; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, from the chapel of Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Adams officiating. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:45 a.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the William F. Green Veterans Home, 300 Faulkner Drive, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
