Lillie Mae Garrison, 65, a native and lifelong resident of Summerdale, died Monday, May 12, 2008 at a local hospital.
She was a long and successful owner of Garrison Mobile Home park.
She loved life to the fullest and mostly enjoyed riding her tractor, riding mower and planting her flowers.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Douglas of Summerdale; three step-children, Susie Johnson, Kenny Johnson and Jeff Johnson; three brothers, Earl (Myra Ann) Bradford of Summerdale, James (Joann) Bradford of Houston, and Clarence Raymond (Mona Lea) Bradford of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Alice Johnson and Betty Williams, both of Summerdale; five grandchildren, Theresa (Randall) Martin of Silverhill, Nellie Renee Meyer of Summerdale, Leon (Joey) Douglas of Summerdale, Tasha Johnson of Loxley and Shelby Johnson of Loxley; six great-grandchildren, Christian Martin, Taya Martin, Ashley Martin, Janie Meyer, Destiny Meyer and Selena Meyer; 19 nieces and nephews, 16 grand nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She will be loved and missed very much by family and friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, May 14 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 15 from the funeral home chapel. Interment followed at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
