Winnie Wilcox Garner, 83, a native of and resident of the Wilcox Community, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rubena Elizabeth Ard Wilcox and Warren Pierce Wilcox.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Garner of the Wilcox Community; four sons, Michael Garner of the Wilcox Community, Stephen (Sherron) Garner of Arkadelphia, Ark., Patrick (Deborah) Garner of Patterson, Calif., and Anthony (Anna) Garner of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Beulah Wigley of the Wilcox Community and Beatrice Elwood of Albany, Ore.; four brothers, Paul Wilcox, Glenn Wilcox, Ray Wilcox and Jerry Wilcox, all of the Wilcox Community; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Loxley First Baptist Church. Burial followed at Old Cooper Cemetery in Rosinton.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Loxley First Baptist Building Fund, P.O. Box 114, Loxley, AL 36551.
