BAY MINETTE, Ala. — First United Methodist Church of Bay Minette Children’s Ministry hosted a tea Sunday afternoon to celebrate the addition of new swings to the church’s playground. Church members recently donated $3,219.05 to fund the addition. That covered the cost of swings, concrete, gravel, landscape timbers and Cyprus mulch. To show their appreciation for the contributions, FUMC children served refreshments to those attending Sunday’s tea.
