From Chili for Charity to the Baldwin Pops, there's something for everyone this weekend, Feb. 11-13

There is a full slate of interesting activities to keep you busy this weekend. On Saturday you might have to flip a coin to decide what to do or at least in what order to do them in. Choose from sampling chili at the Chili for Charity to listening to the Baldwin Pops. Get out and have fun while checking out our favorite events this weekend.

Chili for Charity
What: Ecumenical Ministries' annual Chili for Charity event returns. Teams will compete for bragging rights to see who has the best chili in Baldwin County. The afternoon will feature entertainment by Blind Dog Mike and Robert Sully, inflatables, a mechanical bull, Gulf Coast Zoo animal ambassadors and the Baldwin County Humane Society will have pets available for adoption. Don't forget there will be lots of chili to sample.
When: Saturday, Feb. 12 from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Halstead Amphitheater, Fairhope

Family Fun Day at Gulf State Park
What: Family Fun Day is an annual event that promises a day of family fun and festivities. Race through the obstacle course, get creative at the craft station, visit with the park's animal ambassadors and tour the Marine Resources boat. There will be plenty of fun to keep the whole family busy.
When: Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Where: Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion

Bunn to speak at Pensters meeting
What: The Pensters is the oldest and largest writing group of its kind in Baldwin and Mobile counties. The Pensters monthly meetings are open to the public. This month's meeting will feature historian and author Mike Bunn as the speaker. Bunn currently serves as Director of Historic Blakeley State Park in Spanish Fort and has worked with several cultural heritage organizations in the Southeast. The Baldwin Pops: John Allen Memorial Scholarship Concert
What: Join the Baldwin Pops in celebrating the memory of John Allen and recognizing Baldwin County's talented high school students that plan to pursue music at the collegiate level. Students from various high schools within Baldwin County will be performing with the Baldwin Pops in pursuit of the John Allen Memorial Scholarships.
When: Sunday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m.
Where: Orange Beach Event Center
Price: Free and seating is first come, first serve.
