It has been a wet and stormy couple of weeks on the Gulf Coast, but that doesn't have to keep you at home. From Pensacola to Mobile, there are events that are sure to please this weekend. The Blue Angels take to the sky for the annual air show over Pensacola Beach, and there are multiple days of practice you can take in if you don't want to brave the large Saturday crowds. Are you a Jeep fan? Head to The Fort Park for the Jubilee Jeep Jam. Whether your eyes are toward the sky or your feet are walking the streets, get out and enjoy all the area has to offer this weekend.
Blue Angels Air Show
What: The U.S. Navy's flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, will buzz the sky and dazzle onlookers during their annual air show over Pensacola Beach. The Blue Angels will hold multiple practice sessions along the beach in the days leading up to the big event as well if you don't want to join the crowds Saturday. When: Practice over Pensacola Beach July 7 at 2 p.m., full dress rehearsal with civilian acts takes place July 8 at 11 a.m. and the air show is July 9 starting at 11 a.m.

LoDa Artwalk celebrates National Tattoo Month
What: The LoDa Artwalk, National Tattoo Month and Roll Mobile collide for a fun evening in Bienville Square and downtown Mobile. In addition to tattoo-themed festivities and contests, visitors are encouraged to bring an inspirational painted rock to "drop" downtown for International Drop-A-Rock Day. If walking isn't your style, bring your roller skates and join Roll Mobile in Bienville Square.
When: Friday, July 8 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Orange Beach Junior Marksmanship Program
What: The city of Orange Beach Junior Marksmanship Program's mission is to foster and promote gun safety awareness and the shooting sports by educating the public and the youth. This year's program includes a clay shoot and a rifle shoot at the city shooting range. The program, conducted in conjunction with the State of
Alabama, Department of Conservation, Wildlife & Freshwater Fisheries Division, is open to children ages 8 to 15. Younger or older children may attend pending approval.
When: Clay shoot is July 9 from 8 a.m. - noon and rifle shoot is July 16 from 8 a.m. - noon.
Where: Orange Beach Shooting Range, 23111 Russian Road, Orange Beach.
Price: The fee is $10 for each event. Registration forms can be picked up and returned to Orange Beach City Hall or the Orange Beach Recreation Center. For more information, call (251) 980-5946.
Jubilee Jeep Jam
What: The Jubilee Jeep Jam and Summer Festival is an event the whole family can enjoy. The three-day festival will feature Jeep vendors and an entire vendor village for jewelry, artwork, crafts and more. The location is ideal for enjoying the eateries at The Fort Park, playground and splash pad. There is a schedule full of events all weekend.
