Robert Froehlich, 83, died Saturday, May 19, 2007 in Lillian.

He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He began working in the family woodworking business and for most of his life was involved in commercial sales.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Jeanette Froehlich of Lillian; two sons, Charles (Carol) Froehlich of Avon Lake, Ohio, and Peter (Terri) Froehlich of Courtland Manor, N.Y.; three daughters, Linda (Bob) Decker of Slingerlands, N.Y., Jan (Michael Hatem) Froehlich of Falmouth, Maine, and Carolyn (Vincent) Mellone of Salisbury, N.C.; sister, Marjorie Wolfe of Bloomfield, Conn.; seven grandchildren, Daniel, William, Matthew, Laura, Keith, Brian, and Marlena.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, 2551 S. McKenzie St., Foley. The interment will be at Ft. Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzhiemers Foundation.
