The Friends of the Spanish Fort Public Library will host a three-day fundraiser Nov. 5-7 bringing together more than 17 local authors to celebrate the area's literary talent while raising funds for library resources and educational programming.
The event will take place at the Spanish Fort City Hall Community Center, where readers of all ages can meet local writers, discover new books and purchase signed copies directly from participating authors. The fundraiser will also provide an opportunity for the community to connect with local literary talent and support the area's growing reading community.
Participating authors will showcase and sell their published works while connecting with readers throughout the event. Authors who wish to participate are asked to contribute a booth donation of $30 per day attended, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of the Spanish Fort Public Library.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses, organizations and individuals interested in supporting literacy, education and community engagement. Contributions will help the Friends continue their mission of enhancing library resources, supporting educational programming and promoting a lifelong love of reading throughout the Spanish Fort community.
Residents are encouraged to attend the Nov. 5-7 event, meet talented local authors, discover their next favorite book and support a cause dedicated to literacy and learning.
