Friday, March 2nd was Read the Most from Coast to Coast and the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Students all over the United States read books and took AR Tests on those books. The program resulted in 3,581,992 AR tests being taken in one day! Foley Middle students took 1,599 tests that day! Way to go!! Students flocked to the library to take a test on a book which they had read, and were able to select a tie. So many students took tests that all the ties were gone by 9 a. m.!!  Additional test takers received a chance to win prizes at the end of the school day. 70 students received choices of cotton candy, a poster, pack of pencils, sunglasses or a pack of folders. Students seemed to enjoy this day of reading in memory of Dr. Seuss as many dressed in Seuss costumes and stove pipe hats.
