Free workshop to help aspiring entrepreneurs start businesses in Baldwin County

Aspiring entrepreneurs in Baldwin County can learn what it takes to start a business during a free workshop Aug. 25 in Bay Minette.

"Starting a Business in Baldwin County" is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, 301 McMeans Avenue in Bay Minette.

The in-person workshop is designed for new entrepreneurs of all ages, from millennials to encores, who are considering starting a business in Baldwin County.

The session will cover LLC development, business licenses, tax responsibilities, financing options and resources available to help entrepreneurs start and grow a business. The event also will include a speakers Q&A.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Registration information is available at https://asbdc.ecenterdirect.com/events/10702.

The workshop is hosted by the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, the Alabama Small Business Development Center, Baldwin County and the City of Bay Minette.
