FAIRHOPE, Ala. - The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) will once again provide tax assistance this year at the James P. Nix Center in Fairhope.

The tax assistance service will begin Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 8 a.m., and will run through Wednesday, April 13. The assistance will be offered every Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

No appointments are necessary and service is first come, first serve. There is no charge, and all participants should bring photo identification and all necessary financial information.

The service is open to the public, and membership at the Nix Center is not necessary to participate.
