FAIRHOPE, Ala. - The James P. Nix Center invites members and guests to attend a brief informational session presented by Project Rebound counselors Ronnie Northcutt and Sarah Creech.

Project Rebound is a community based program that provides referral and counseling services to those impacted by the recent oil spill and other disasters, including hurricanes.

The meeting will be held at the Nix Center on Wednesday, July 13 at 10 a.m.

This presentation allows participants the opportunity to learn more about Project Rebound and how it is serving the people of Baldwin County, especially our seniors.

Counselors will provide information and insight into special concerns of seniors following oil spills and other disasters— for example, stress-related concerns that tend to manifest through physical, emotional and behavioral reactions as well as coping skills. They will also discuss the oil spill and its impact on our area.

To sign up to attend the session call 928-2835 or stop by the Nix Center at 1 Bayou Drive. The meeting is free of charge and open to the public.
