Frank L. Burnes, 81, a lifelong resident of Gulf Shores, died Monday Sept. 6, 2010.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Ewing of Gulf Shores; nephew, Leon (Lois) Ewing of Foley; niece, Mary (Eugene) Richerson of Gulf Shores; grand nephew, Barry Ewing of Montevallo; grand niece, Lounell Moser of Bon Secour; great-grand nieces, great-grand nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Oyster Bay Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oyster Bay Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
