Terrie Bryant Foster, 60, A native of Laurel, Miss., and a resident of Fairhope, died Saturday, June 29, 2007 at her residence.
After finishing Soule Business College, she joined Coca-Cola USA in New Orleans, where she worked in the Transportation Group for over eight years. When she left Coca-Cola, she became a corporate wife, supporting her husband, Robert B. Foster, as his career moves took them to Indonesia, Carlsbad, N.M., New York, and a return to New Orleans.
She was a duplicate bridge Life Master and competed in many bridge tournaments around the country. Fairhope became their retirement choice and she became an avid golfer, joining Rock Creek Golf Club’s Ladies Group. She was also a member of the Mountain Glen Ladies Golf Group in Newland, N.C., and a member of the Wisteria Garden Club in Fairhope.
She loved to travel and had many friends around the world. She was devoted to her husband and her family and they were always her first priority.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Elizabeth Bryant and a nephew, Scott Bryant.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Foster of Fairhope; two brothers, Ricky Bryant of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., and David (Meg) Bryant of Mobile; nephews, Nicholas Bryant and Patrick Bryant, both of Mobile; niece, Lindsey Bryant of Laurel, Miss.; mother-in-law, Sara Foster of Fairhope; brother-in-law, Tommy Foster of Fairhope; and grand nephew, Andrew Scott Bryant.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
A Celebration of her Life was held on Sunday, July 1 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
