Sara Roberts Foster, 91, a native of West Point, Miss., and a resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009.
She was a graduate of M.S.C.W., a teacher and an employee of Carnegie Public Library.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boyd “Tubby” Foster; sister Helen Roberts Sutpen; and brother, Fred Roberts.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Boyd Foster Jr., and Thomas Wade Foster, both of Fairhope; sister, Annie Bess Hinton of Jackson, Miss., sister-in-law, Sara Moseley Roberts of West Point, Miss., numerous nephews and niece.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope; and from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at Robinson Funeral Home in West Point, Miss. A graveside ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22 at Greenwood Cemetery in West Point, Miss.
The family requests memorial donations be made to M.U.W. or to the charity of your choice.
