The Fort Morgan Oyster Fest has been named a finalist for “Best Festival at the Beach” in the annual Best of Baldwin Awards, cementing its place among the Gulf Coast’s premier coastal celebrations.

The 2026 festival will take place Feb. 28 through March 1 at The Beach Club Resort & Spa, offering two days of fresh oysters, live music and family-friendly fun.

Hosted by Spectrum Resorts, Sassy Bass and Navy Cove Oysters, the Fort Morgan Oyster Fest has quickly grown into a homegrown favorite, drawing seafood enthusiasts, local farmers and coastal travelers organizers said in a news release..

“It’s an honor to be named one of the Best Festivals at the Beach,” Ashlee Lowry, marketing director at Spectrum Resorts, said in the release. “This recognition reflects the passion our partners, farmers and community bring to the event each year. It’s a true celebration of Alabama’s oyster coast and the people who make it special.”

Now in its fourth year, the festival highlights Alabama’s thriving oyster industry, featuring farms such as Admiral Shellfish Company and Navy Cove Oysters. Visitors can sample oysters straight from the Gulf, enjoy chef-inspired dishes and learn about sustainable practices that have made Alabama Gulf Coast oysters among the nation’s best.

Festival activities include raw and cooked oysters from local farms, live coastal music throughout the weekend, local vendors and artisans presenting coastal creations, kid-friendly activities and VIP and Super VIP experiences featuring private seating, premium oysters and bar offerings and other surprises.

Tickets are on sale now at Eventbrite. A full schedule and festival map are available at www.FortMorganOysterFest.com.

Guests can extend the celebration with a beachside getaway at The Beach Club Resort & Spa, which is offering exclusive stay-and-save discounts.
