Foley United Methodist Church to hold a Fall Festival

FOLEY — Foley United Methodist Church is hosting an all free “Fall Festival” Saturday, Nov. 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free games, face painting, cake walks, hamburgers, hot dogs, pop corn are some of the fun things that will be going on.  

The games will include bouncy houses, outdoor bowling, fish and duck ponds. There will be  12 different games for children to enjoy.

Several live bands will be performing including This Side of 49, and the Foley UM Praise Band.

Displays will be sponsored by the Foley Police Department, the Foley Fire Department and the National Guard. Information tables on the church mission projects, and youth opportunities will also be available. Free English and Spanish Bibles will be given out to those who would like one.

Among the many prizes are an Ipod, bicycles for both girls and boys, Gulf Shores Zoo passes and bowling passes.

 The cake walk will be giving away as many as 50 cakes. The church is located at the corner of Fig and Pine streets. Look for the big tent on the lawn!
