The Foley police department received a report of a possible domestic violence incident which involved Foley officer James Klein and his girlfriend Victoria Broadus. According to police reports, it appeared that both suspects had been involved in a physical altercation when police arrived.

Because the incident involved a Foley police officer, Foley Police Chief David Wilson was notified of the incident. Wilson asked an outside agency to respond and investigate the incident. The Baldwin County Sheriff”s Office responded and investigated according to police reports.

Both Klein and Broadus were arrested and charged with third-degree domestic violence. Klein was taken to the Baldwin County Corrections Center. Broadus was first taken to the Gulf Shores Jail and was later moved to the Baldwin County Corrections Center according to police reports.
