Foley native seeks assistance for Nicaragua mission work

Posted

My name is Jeremy Cox, a Baldwin County native now living in Durango, CO. I am reaching out to the people of my hometown of Foley, AL and the neighboring communities.

I am asking for support for a mission trip to Nicaragua. Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the Western hemisphere, Haiti being the poorest. I will be spreading the good word and working hard to help the Nicaraguan people.

There is no government assistance for the poor in Nicaragua. They need our help and this is a unique way of reaching out and setting an example and being an ambassador of my home community. With your support we can make this trip take off on June 22, 2014.

I need to raise $1900 to make this trip.  We need a large portion of it by March 23.  The rest needs to be raised shortly thereafter. I have confidence that we can raise the entire amount by March 23.

If you, anyone you know, or any church is interested in supporting this mission trip, contact me at 970-426-9123 or mail donations to: First Baptist Church of Durango, 332 East 11th Street, Durango, CO 81301. Be sure to put in the memo line, Jeremy Cox.
