A 26-year-old Foley man died in a single-vehicle car crash Friday morning.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Jerson Palacios-Gonzales was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra westbound on Interstate 10, near the 42 mile marker, which is about two miles west of Loxley, when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail, overturned and struck a group of trees about 8:53 a.m. June 16.

When first responders arrived, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The agency said he was not wearing a seat belt.

ALEA Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.
