FOLEY — Foley Police are seeking help from the public in a robbery case.

According to Foley Police Lt. David White, a Foley residence was burglarized Tuesday.

“One of the items taken was a jar full of about $200 worth of change,” he said via email.

White is asking area merchants to be on the lookout for transactions containing an unusual amount of coins.

“We ask that if any of the local businesses has someone redeeming a large amount of change and they suspect that this person may have committed the burglary, please contact the police department,” the investigations commander said.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call Foley Police Department at 251-943-4431.
