Pensacola-born actress and Foley High School graduate Toni Wynne landed a role in Spider-Man 3. Wynne, who also worked with director Sam Raimi on Spider-Man 2, was called back to work on the third installment of the superhero blockbuster Spider-Man, starring Tobey McGuire.

In addition to performing stunts for the Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) and Gwen Stacey (Bryce Dallas Howard) characters, Wynne has a role as a Bugle employee in a pivotal scene with Eddie Brock, played by Topher Grace, who is best known for his work on That ’70s Show.

“It was pure joy working with all involved in making this movie. I almost cried on the last day,” admitted Wynne. “Sam is an extraordinary director. Kirsten (Dunst) and Bryce (Dallas Howard) were so open and friendly. I didn't want it to end.”

Wynne, who also lived in Orange Beach, attended Bayside Academy, graduated from Foley High in 1998, and went on to receive a degree in theater from Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City.

“I will always think of Pensacola and Orange Beach as home. I love the area. It’s so relaxing and peaceful.”

It’s rumored that Wynne will again work with director Sam Raimi on his next project, which has not been officially announced.
