The Scout Good Turn Food Drive organized after the turn of the 21st century is the first National Good Turn since the Boy Scouts of America collected scrap metal during World War II. The food collected by scouts all over the four county Mobile Area Council gathered tons of food that was taken to the Bay Area Food Bank for redistribution to the needy, through service agencies during the holiday period. Pack 77 of Foley under the direction of Lisa Jones, Cub Master(Right) collected approximately 800 pounds of food. Kayden Brumfield (Left) and Ashton Brumfield (Center) were the clear winners of collecting the most food in Foley with almost 600 pounds.
