FOLEY, Ala. - The Foley City Council discussed re-filling the city clerk position at Wednesday's council work session.

Mayor John Koniar said the position was combined with the city administrator position, and there were discussions of separating the duties into two separate positions around the time Perry Wilbourne retired as city administrator.

"We've got a proposal to advertise internally for the position," Koniar said, and the council gave consensus to begin advertising within the city.
