The building received structural damage on the north side, and Bishop said firefighters had to rip down the bathroom ceiling to reach the fire.
"It took about 20 minutes before they could call it safe," he said.
According to Bishop, the fast-food chain location is "doubtful" to re-open by Friday.
According to Jessica Miller, restaurant manager at the time, there were six customers inside the building at the time of the incident.
"I went into the office, and everyone started hollering," she said. "We had to kick everybody out."
Miller also said she did not know how the fire started and confirmed that there were no injuries from the incident.
The Foley Fire Department and Police Department responded to the incident.
