Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Flournoy Jr. of Muscle Shoals announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Leigh Flournoy, to Ryan Patrick Beale, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen P. Beale of Huntsville.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Muscle Shoals High School and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Alabama in May. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha social sorority and Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Fraternity.
After graduation she will begin employment with Volkert and Associates of Mobile.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Grissom High School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management from the University of Alabama in 2004. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006 and will graduate with a master’s degree in healthcare administration from UAB in May.
While completing his residency, he is employed with Cardiology Associates as director of operations in Baldwin County.
The couple will exchange vows June 2, 2007 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Florence.
