FOLEY, Ala. - Episcopal Church Women will host the next fish fry July 7 from 5-7 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bon Secour.
The fish fry events happen monthly and allowed Episcopal Church Women group to send $2,000 to northern Alabama for tornado relief due to the fish fries.
Paula Mund, president of the group, stated the community's support of the monthly fish fry meals made it possible to send money to storm victims.
The menu includes fried mullet, hush puppies, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and homemade desserts.
The cost for the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The event will take place in the church's parish hall or outside on the picnic tables depending on weather. Take out dinners will be available.
The church is located at the County Road 10 and County Road 49 intersection.
The event also benefits the church's other outreach programs such as Ecumenical Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Wilmer Hall, Family Promise and The Lighthouse.
