In an effort to keep the citizens of Gulf Shores abreast of what is going on in and around the city, and in order to improve communication between residents and elected officials, the first Gulf Shores town hall meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, January 20, 2011.

Mayor Robert Craft, council members, and representatives of the different city departments will be on hand to discuss issues or answer any questions from concerned citizens. The meeting, which will be held at the Gulf Shores Adult Activity Center will begin at 5:30.  A special guest speaker has yet to be announced.

Residents are encouraged to attend in order to take part in helping to guide the direction of the city’s future.
