BAY MINETTE, Alabama — This month’s installment of First Friday Family Night will take place May 6 and will feature the movie “Inside Out.” Set for 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., activities will take place at Blackburn Park.

The event offers residents a fun opportunity to check out local vendors, pick-up giveaways and enjoy and a free movie.  There will also be kids’ activities including a bounce house.

First Friday Family Night is co-sponsored by North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bay Minette.

Foodies can enjoy dinner from the Greer’s Hot Dog Truck, Pizza Hut and Chill Frozen Yogurt. The event will also include kids’ activities, arts and crafts and the outdoor movie.

The Hawt Mess mobile fashion truck will be on sight packed with clothing and accessories. The “store” is an airstream trailer and shoppers can browse inside the trailer.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring so much to the community on one night especially a Friday night when people are looking for something to do,” said Kris Angelone, NBCC Membership and Project manager. “Our goal is to enhance and support our community.”

The final movie in the First Friday series will be “Good Dinosaur” on June 3 at Simmons Field on Fifth Street directly behind Bay Minette Intermediate School.
