Get ready for some new food spots at OWA in Foley this summer.

On Thursday, May 21, OWA Parks & Resort invited select guests to tour and try four new food establishments that will be open on the premises as part of a special First Bite event, just in time for the summer season in Baldwin County.

Ben's Pretzels, a national chain, is opening a location at OWA, serving soft, Amish-inspired pretzels that can be paired with 11 different dipping sauces. They also serve flavored pretzels such as cinnamon sugar and pepperoni and cheese, along with pretzel bites and a pretzel dog, a hot dog in a pretzel bun.

A new restaurant called Baja Grill is opening inside the Tropic Falls theme park at OWA. Patrons can order chicken tenders, burgers and hot dogs, along with fries such as "Maui Fries," which are covered with queso, chili, lettuce, pico de gallo and jalapenos. Dessert items such as fried Oreos are also available.

Jon Smith Subs offers a variety of sandwiches to choose from, including a classic ham and cheese, meatball sub, teriyaki chicken and tuna subs. Sandwiches are available either hot or cold and can be enjoyed in 6-inch and 12-inch sized subs.

Described as a "candy zoo," Sweet Tooth is a candy store where patrons can buy candy in bulk. Each wall is decorated with a wide variety of sugary goodness, along with craft sodas and frozen treats such as ice cream and milkshakes.
