Foley Fire Department and Foley Fire Association will hold a benefit fish fry on Saturday for Brett Burgett, a young man who is a burn victim.

According to Fire Chief Jamie Hinton, the fish fry will be held at Foley Fire Department Station No. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The fire station is located at 120 W. Verbena Ave.

Hinton said Brett is approximately 10 years old.

Brett has an uncle with the Bon Secour Volunteer Fire Department and an uncle who is a volunteer firefighter with Foley as well.

Brett is currently at home but is still having to travel to receive treatments.

The benefit will hopefully help Brett's family with travel expenses and the like, Hinton said.
