The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the Festival of Flavor has been named a designated qualifying festival for a Golden Ticket to the World Food Championships. The winner of the World Food Championships will receive $100,000 in cash and prizes and receive the title of the World Food Champion.
On Monday, July 18, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce was notified their annual food festival, the Festival of Flavor, has been named as a designated qualifying festival for a Golden Ticket to the World Food Championships that will be held Nov. 9 – 13, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at The Wharf in Orange Beach. General admission is free.
The Festival of Flavor will be held in the streets of historic downtown Foley, Oct. 8, and is open to the public. The Festival of Flavor will offer sample tastes, not only from the chefs competing for a Golden Ticket, but also from local breweries, wineries, restaurants, mom-and-pop shops and so much more.
