Reid Shawn Ferrill, 53, a native of Biloxi, Miss., and resident of Fairhope, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009 at his home after a long struggle with heart problems.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Donna Ferrill of Fairhope; his parents, Robert and Carol Ferrill of Silverhill; three daughters, Emily (Gus) Rios of Atlanta, Lydia Ferrill of Daphne and Ellen Ferrill of Fairhope; two brothers, Michael (Dana) Ferrill of Spanish Fort, Scott (Joyce) Ferrill of Silverhill; sister, Kelly Ferrill of Silverhill; nephews and a niece.
Visitation and a celebration of life service was held Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the First Baptist Church of Fairhope with the Rev. Jeff Ingram officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Ecumenical Ministries, Inc. 564 Fairhope Ave, Fairhope, AL 36532.
