Amanda “Mandie” Lynne Ferrell, 29, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Daphne.
She was born in Virginia Beach, Va., and graduated from Robertsdale High School. She received her B.S. in nursing from the University of South Alabama and had worked as an RN at Providence Hospital, Springhill Diagnostic Clinic and Robertsdale Healthcare Center. She was a member of the Tristan DeLuna Chapter of DAR in Mobile.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Gilda and Greg Boutwell of Robertsdale; her grandparents, Craig and Dolores Rhodes of Daphne; siblings, Delilah Boutwell, Ian Boutwell and Kayla Boutwell, all of Robertsdale, and Thomas Fant of Mobile; many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 26 at Hughes Cremation & Funeral Service in Daphne.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation, the Haven in Fairhope or to the Mobile Baykeeper organization.
