Raye “Pots” Fell, 83, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Summerdale, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007.
He was in the Army from 1942 until 1945. He served in England during World War II; was a self employed mechanic and also a mechanic at Moyer Ford for many years; and was a lifetime member of Sonora Masonic Lodge No. 635 in Summerdale.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Ester Fell of Summerdale; daughter, Marilyn (John) Resmondo of Summerdale; son, George Ray (Elizabeth Paul) Fell of Dothan; sister, Norma Jean (Walter) Holman of Fairhope; brother, James (Betty) Fell of Summerdale; grandchildren, Ashley Stewart, Alison Kelly, Noah Dray Resmondo, Glennon Curtiss Fell and Melissa Resmondo; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea Case, Sklar Case, Hannah Rose Fell, Eli Fell and Lauren Nicole Resmondo.
Graveside funeral services and burial were held Thursday, June 7 at Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
