BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Faulkner State Community College is warming up to the winter season with not only scarves and gloves, but microphones and instruments as well.

The college is getting ready for its annual Christmas on the Coast.

Instruments are synchronizing and voices are harmonizing as the Faulkner Singers and the Faulkner State Jazz Band begin rehearsals.

This year, the renowned Baldwin Pops will be joining the students for an amazing ensemble of Christmas tunes and carols.

The groups will perform in the L. D. Owen Performing Arts Center at the Bay Minette campus on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.

They will also perform at the Daphne Civic Center on Dec. 7 and the Foley Civic Center on Dec 8.

Christmas on the Coast is open to the public and has no admission fee.

The performance will support the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign.

Attendees are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped toy to this worthy cause.
