DAPHNE — Faith Family Fellowship Baptist Church has chartered with Mothers of Preschoolers International.

MOPS International  has been involved in reaching out to mothers of preschoolers since 1973. Eight women began this organization in Wheatridge, Colo., where they gathered for programs to help with parenting.

In 1981 MOPS established a board of directors in which leadership training was established. In 1988 MOPS expanded beyond U.S. borders and became known as MOPS International.  MOPS International publishes MOM Sense Magazine. In January 2006 MOPS International board of directors approved an updated vision statement that provides MOPS International with an intentional long touch on a mom’s life.

For information on MOPS contact Beth Pinyerd, children’s director at Faith Family Fellowship at 626-1379, 295-0628, or beth@faithfamilyonline.com.
