The Fairhope Public Library will host local author and personal chef Pamela Hunter, also known as Pamela Boleyn, for an author talk Monday, Nov. 16, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Giddens Conference Room at the library, 501 Fairhope Ave.
Hunter, an Eastern Shore author, writes about the challenges and triumphs of life, the enduring friendships that sustain people through difficult times and the courage needed to navigate life-changing events.
During the event, Hunter will discuss her new novel, “Red Shoes Crossing: Love, Loss, & Courage Collide on the Gulf Coast.” The book is the first Pamela Boleyn title in a new series, "Whispers Along the Bay," set along Alabama’s Gulf Coast.
The novel explores themes of love, loss and courage, offering a story that celebrates the possibility of second chances.
In addition to sharing insights into her writing and stories, Hunter will serve some of her homemade light bites for attendees.
The event is open to all ages. Community members are invited to attend the free author talk and meet the local writer.
