FAIRHOPE,Ala.—The Fairhope Lions Club Golf Tournament to help fight blindness and diabetes is set for Oct. 6 at Quail Creek. The Sunday afternoon event kicks off at noon with a great lunch provided followed by a silent auction and awards.

Sponsorships and contributions range from door prizes to $5,000 and are tax deductible. Terry Thompson is donating a 2014 Equinox for “Hole-in-One” grand prize. A putting contest, vacations, door prizes and other silent auction items will be available. Greer’s Food Tiger and the SSI Group have also been recognized for their generous donations to the Fairhope Lions this year.
