Hunter scored eight of his team-high 14 points in the fourth period

to help push the Pirates to victory.

did a good job of taking what the defense was giving him," Fairhope

coach Andy Ryan said. "He made some perimeter shots early and got

some late going to the goal. He is one of our better free throw

shooters and he is a senior. He knocked them down when we needed

him to."

Pirates took a 16-11 lead by the end of the first period and led

the Lions 27-22 at the half.

happy with the way we came out and shot well in the first quarter

and that helped our confidence," Ryan said. "Playing them this

close back-to-back I think helped. We lost a heartbreaker to them

on Friday and I think the turnaround helped."
