FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Last Thursday afternoon, band students from Fairhope Middle and High schools played a lengthy concert of jazz music in an outdoor concert at the Fairhope Municipal Pier south beach.
Folks gathered on the shady lawn, relaxing in lawn chairs or blankets and listened to the groups as they played a variety of jazz styles, including improvization.
