The bride is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is employed both as a graphic designer and in sales.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carl Eyre Jr. Grandparents are Maria Teresa Munoz de McPherson of Yucatan, Mexico, and the late John Raymond McPherson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carl Eyre.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is employed by State Farm Insurance.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Paul Simmonds of Fairhope. Grandparents are Rose Evelyn Guibault and the late Raymond Russell Guibault, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jones Simmonds.
Christina Eyre Bliley served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Elizabeth Bullock, Camille Crew Cangelosi, Allyson Kathleen Comeax, Mary Victoria Evans, Michel Scott Fritze, Margaret Elizabeth Harris, Marguerite Louise Milner, Amanda Simmonds Hilburn, and Margo Town Mathews.
George Shelby Allen served as best man. Groomsmen were Henry Carl Eyre III, Mark Edward Eyre, Logan Sean Perry, Michael Anthony Dispenza, Edward Anthony Shamis Jr., Jere Dale Hilburn, Jr., Erik James Hoffpauir, Lane Talbott Robertson and Michael Christopher Knapp.

A reception at the Louisiana State Museum in Baton Rouge followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Baton Rouge.
